Prince Thomas LLC was incorporated in Florida in 2012 as the personal practice of its founder, Thomas Philip — a vehicle for analytics- and technology-centred consulting serving American small enterprises. For over a decade it did useful, unglamorous work, and it kept its standing: filings current, records in order, obligations met.

In 2026 the founder’s wider work reorganized under Pontessera Group, a multi-venture stewardship group working the corridor between the Côte d’Azur and the Greater Mekong. The practice was not retired. It was given a settled role: Prince Thomas LLC is the group’s American house — the point of legal and commercial continuity in the United States from which the newer ventures draw their history.

Today the firm does three things. It holds and stewards the group’s United States interests, serving as the entity American counterparties contract with. Two of those interests are already on the public record: the firm is the sole member of Athentura LLC and Samafen LLC, Florida companies through which the group’s travel- and hospitality-technology line — Athentura’s consultancy and its Samafen flagship in the Maldives — is held in the United States. It maintains a retained advisory practice in building intelligence and energy performance, continued from its origins in analytics. And it anchors the group’s governance under American law — the records, filings, and disciplines described on the governance page.

The principal

Thomas Philip founded the firm and leads Pontessera Group. His working life spans travel and hospitality operations in India and the Maldives, enterprise technology and service management for a global financial-services firm, and eight years in United States Army aviation (2011–2019); he continues to serve in the Army Reserve. He holds a B.S. in Business Analytics from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University (magna cum laude, 2026), is a certified ISO/IEC 27001 information-security management systems lead auditor, and begins the MBA at the International University of Monaco in fall 2026.

In the community

The firm is 100% veteran-owned — its founder served, and the entity keeps that identity on its record. Through Hub4Heroes, its veteran-enterprise initiative, it partners with The Hub @ Office Logic to support veteran-owned businesses and startups. In its home market it is a business community member of Miami Made, the maker-and-founder community where a good part of the firm’s Miami network began.
